Please get ready for the group folk dance competition. First time in the history of UAE BUNTS, conducting this kind of competition and there will be a Cash prize for Ist, IInd & III place winners.
37th Get-Together of UAE BUNTS would be conducted on G.C.C. level with contestants participating from GCC Countries namely Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman & Qatar and attended by Presidents of all Bunts associations of these Gulf Countries.
The following rules shall apply for the Folk Dance Competition :
Ø For the age group of 10 years and above.
Ø The Participants strictly has to participate only in one dance
Ø Only Kannada and Tulu Folk songs are acceptable
Ø Minimum six people should participate and should have men and women as well
Ø Time limit is only 5 minutes and more than that shall be disqualified.
Hazardous props like fire & water should not be used. Participating teams should clear all the props/decorations from stage within two minutes after their show.
Rules for the Bunts Fashion Show :
Ø For the couples only and for the age group of 40 years and above
Ø Traditional Dress only.
During the program UAE Bunts are privileged to honour those students who have achieved 90% and above in 10th & 12th and excelled in the field of sports during the year 2010. (Details to be emailed to sarvo@eim.ae ).
Besides these competitions, there shall be raffle draws, variety of entertainment programs etc. Hence, be there in great numbers and enjoy the Family Get-together. Meet the dear and near ones.
